Blog Envy

I've realised that lately, I've been suffering a condition that can only be called "Blog Envy". It's a pathetic condition, and will surely only cause my own humble blog to suffer. However, I cannot help but feel this little blog is one tenth as glamourous, beautiful, insightful and entertaining as the ones I read written by people who live in loft-conversions on the edge of Brooklyn and play in the snow and read Hemingway in their spare time.

Am I the only one?

I think your blog is great! Your pictures are amazing and I'm always delighted by something every time I check in. In fact, this year I made a resolution to cut down on the blogs I read, but yours was definitely a keeper!

Hey, yeah I like your blog, and I have the same envy and think I'll shut mine down every other day. But who are these other people you read?

Thanks for the encouragement - it wans't meant to be fishing for compliments! Just a lament.

Oh, I've gotten into design blogs, and lots of them are written by really trendy people who live in the eastern states.

eg. http://www.joannagoddard.blogspot.com/

haha...maybe I have a case of blog envy too! I would love my blog to have photos and well written pieces. But a lot of my posts lately have been "I should post but I have nothing to write about so I'm going to rant about X/Y/Z".

We're changing the format a bit so its a bit more user friendly for internet-challenged me and so we can post photos. Hopefully it will pick up soon...

Well, to level the playing field, I have tagged you in a meme. Feel free to ignore it if you wish, Ali
