We (Jane, Jo and I) went to the beach (I couldn't see under the hat)
And to a historic home
Things I didn't get on film were: reading lots and lots, baking impossible pie and a cake, watching Vanity Fair, and trying to finish 600 minutes of Brideshead Revisited. We didn't quite achieve it. We're only four episodes off though!!

Did you know Brideshead is coming out at the movies soon? Very exciting (and significantly shorter too ;-) )
Yeah, i heard that! I just looked it up on IMDB. So weird that Sebastian isn't blonde in the new version! I read originally Jude Law had been cast as Sebastian, which sounds like a great bit of casting, but because the director changed, so has the casting...
I'm not a big Jude Law fan, so I'm kinda glad he's not Sebastian.
JL seems so hard & arrogant (at least in the movies I've seen him in) and Sebastian is in some way so vulnerable, I don't know if it would work. And I quite like seeing un-knowns in movies made of my favourite books because then it's not Jude Law, but Sebastian and I don't have to stop thinking of him as Jude Law.
